What are your hours of operation? 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday What age children do you accept? Children beginning with ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Do you offer a family rate? We offer a discount of 10% off the tuition of the youngest child when two or more children are full time. Do you have transportation to the local elementary schools? Springboro Schools transport our children within the district. Arrangements for children outside the district may be made utilizing our own Kids 'R' Kids bus. Do you offer field trips for the children? Yes, our bus is available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the State’s age requirement. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year round. Whether it be the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for the parents peace of mind. Do you provide outdoor time? Yes, our school is equipped with four areas of outside play. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our school has six foot fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state of the art and Kids 'R' Kids abides by the Federal regulations on safety equipment and their surrounding fall zones. Do you provide meals and snacks? Yes, we serve breakfast, lunch and two nutritional snacks. Our Center is equipped with a full service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Is your staff trained? Yes, our Kids 'R' Kids Quality Learning Center is required to follow state of Ohio regulations that apply to training. All staff are trained in First Aid, CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse and Neglect. Ongoing additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning. OSHA regulations, games and arts and crafts provides the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. |
