Kids `R` Kids is a locally owned and operated franchise. We are very proud to provide the most innovative facilities and effective educational programs for children, 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
Our center opened in April of 2002. We have grown immensely over the years and have developed into a high quality Early Childhood program. Our center is privately owned and operated by Ed and Bonnie Doczy. Ed and Bonnie live in Springboro and have been involved in the community for years. They have 2 children of their own, Jordan and Samantha. Even though their children are now grown, their love for children and their passion for quality care and education has never ceased. They are very involved in the center`s daily operation and are thrilled to be able to walk the halls, giving out smiles and hugs to all our children. Ed enjoys camping, hiking and spending time in the outdoors in his free time. Bonnie enjoys reading and creating through various types of art in her free time.
Kids R Kids has 2 Co-Directors, Jill Mosley and Krista Curry. Jill was Kids R Kids first employee, working at our center for almost 10 years. Her knowledge of the center`s operations, policies and procedures are invaluable. Jill lives in Carlisle with her husband and is very involved with the families of Kids R Kids and our community. Krista has worked at Kids R Kids for 5 years, holds a B.S. in Education from Wright State University and a current Ohio teaching license for PreKindergarten through 3rd grade. She lives in Springboro with her husband and enjoys being a part of the Kids R Kids community, as a resident and an educator.
Our staff at Kids R Kids is diverse in many ways. We have teachers from young to old, women and men, teachers holding a High School Diploma, CDA (Assoc. in Child Development), Assoc. in ECE, B.S. Ed, various Bachelor`s Degrees and some teachers working on their master`s degree. We have some teachers who have raised their own children and some who just enjoy spending time with children! We feel that teaching is a lifelong commitment to learning and we value continuing education and professional development. We are constantly reflecting on our current programs and seeking to improve our programs. We are excited to share that we are actively pursuing an Accreditation through the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which is an indicator of high quality early childhood programs.
Our sincere love for children and strong belief that they should have a solid foundation, in combination with Kids `R` Kids, the absolute leader in its industry, make the perfect choice for your family`s childcare needs. Our center is approximately 17,000 square feet with 10 classroom suites, a cafeteria, a large activity gym for before and after school students, and three large play areas separated for age groups.
At Kids `R` Kids, we share a common desire with parents, which is to provide the absolute best for the children. Our high quality teachers, creative and fun educational programs and, of course, our state-of-the-art facility make us stand high above our competitors.
